Adobe Photoshop (PSD) format
You can export your Expression Design artwork in the Adobe Photoshop (PSD) file format by clicking Export on the File menu. After you give the file a name and tell Expression Design where to save it in the Export dialog box, select Adobe Photoshop (PSD) from the Save as Type list, and then click the Save button.
Expression Design displays the Export Image Settings dialog box, in which you can specify image dimensions, and so on. For more information about the Export Image Settings dialog box, see Exporting bitmapped images. The Export Image Settings dialog box also offers options specific to the PSD file format.
- Mode You can choose to save your image as RGB or RGBA. The "A" indicates that transparency is maintained in the image.
- Save layers If you choose the RGBA pixel format, Expression Design enables the Save layers check box. When enabled, the final PSD file will contain the same layer information as your original Expression Design artwork. When disabled, your layers will be flattened to a single layer.
When you click OK to exit the Export PSD dialog box, it saves the file to disk.
